The GateLock is targeted at the Housing and Development Board’s (HDB) public housing which accounts for more than 80 percent of housing in Singapore today. Normally, these houses have two doors on the main gate, one wooden and one metal. There is a growing demand for digital door lock solutions for metal gates to replace the current mechanical solutions, which are not a complete keyless solution for our end customers.

The product is a classic example of leveraging global offering and customizing to suit local requirements. With the help of iRevo, the team made some innovative customization to overcome the challenges of Low door thickness (25mm) and enable easy installation on all types of metal doors. In addition, the GateLock prevents manual opening from its back thanks to the thumb turn or open-close button.

YDR323-G (G for GateLock) has also a retail packaging customized with GateLock branding.
