The Elishewitz CRKT Pharaoh™ is a unique folding knife design that incorporates many of Allen Elishewitz’s striking and influential knife themes. First there is the unique blade grind, reminiscent of the traditional “long clip blade” of a century ago.
The tip is designed for penetration, with a swedged top edge. But the center of the blade is re-curved, with a high hollow grind, making it ideal for feeding material to the cutting edge— wood, cord, vegetation. The black-on-black features a titanium nitride blade coating that is non-reflective along with the plus black liners, bolsters, fasteners and clip for a tactical look. The frame is about the strongest around with dual stainless steel liners, black stainless steel bolsters, textured injection-molded Zytel® scales, and a solid Zytel back spacer at the spine. The Pharaoh has a button lock.

Descriptions:
A Composite Blade combines two steels in one blade and enables us to put each steel to work doing what it does best. In this case, we put high-performance Sandvik 14C28N stainless on the spine and most of the blade. With increased nitrogen in the formula, 14C28N provides both good corrosion resistance and high hardness. The cutting edge is high-carbon high-chromium D2 steel. It’s only slightly stain resistant but it provides the razor edge and the easy re-sharpening of high-carbon steel. In time, expect a patina to develop along the edge, which will help protect against corrosion.
Although the JYD II is a big knife, it’s not too heavy and many people like it for every day carrying. The textured G-10 handles provide a non-slip grip, while the handle design keeps your hand in a great cutting position so cutting is always controlled and confident. The JYD II is a manual opening knife with a flipper that lets you open it easily left or right-handed with a pull back on the flipper and a roll of your wrist. A locking liner secures the big-bellied blade in place during use. Includes a zippered pouch.
