No more hiding the key under the doormat or in the flower pot: With the KeyGarage™, ABUS offers an intelligent and secure solution for storing keys. Secured by means of a number code, the strong steel plate housing protects keys and code cards against unauthorised access.

If keys need to be made accessible to several people, the KeyGarage™ offers a simple and secure solution for easy exchange. All that is required is notification of a number code to those with authorisation. If the group changes, the code can be changed quickly and easily – 10,000 different codes are available for this purpose. The KeyGarage™ is therefore ideal for vehicle rental companies, for example, owners of holiday homes or for use in the field of mobile healthcare.

The solid metal housing and strong locking cover made from pressure-cast zinc secure against unauthorised access as required. A plastic cover also protects the number mechanism against the effects of the weather.

The 83CS/55 is closed shackle version of the 83/55. A better more secure option if the area is under high risk of attack. This is a heavy duty high security padlock designed for high risk areas. The hardened steel body and shackle are tough against attack from bolt cutters and saws and the raised shoulders give it greater protection compared to the open shackle padlocks.
The closed shackle means that there is less clearance underneath the shackle so once locked there is less shackle showing for people to attack. Perfect for hasps and staples or interlocking links of chain.
The 83CS/55 is available keyed alike or masterkeyed to any other padlock in the ABUS 83 series.
