The King 'Neo' Waterstones are a relatively new addition to the King lineup, being more of a ceramic stone than their more conventional waterstones.
They are specifically designed for grinding Stainless steel and alloy steel blades, cutting faster and staying flatter for longer.
At #800 grit, these stones are intended for repairing damaged edges and altering/restoring edge geometry quickly and efficiently. They do not require soaking prior to use, a little water on the surface of the stone is sufficient to keep the stone clear of grinding swarf.
