Thermal recovery system recycles heat from the LED to warm batteries for improved performance in low temperatures. Compound Path Optics(CPO) permit high efficiency and compact size. Based on the 4AA torch, but shorter and lighter and powered by three AA batteries not four. The eLED bulb will last for up to 100,000 reducing the need for replacement bulbs. Will mount on most hard hats, public order or fire helmets with the addition of the UK universal helmet clip. The torch comes with ATEX approval, only in graphite non conductive PC/ABS Lexan®. Probably the most economical and powerful light in its class.
CE (Ex) Intrinsically safe
3 x Duracell MN1500/PC1500, Energizer E91/EN91 or Rayovac AL-AA/815 1.5 V alkaline LR6 AA-cells. Although other types of batteries may work in this light, they have not been rated for use in hazardous locations.
